A pedestrian car crash on Commonwealth Avenue near Bradford Street was reported on Friday, Feb. 3 around 7:34 a.m., according to the Concord Police and Fire Departments.
First responders arrived to find a young girl suffering from injuries after being hit by a vehicle. She had been trying to cross the street.
Concord EMS treated the child at the scene before she was transported to a Boston-area hospital in a medical helicopter.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police say.
The crash is actively being investigated by the Concord Police Department.
